I had a lady try to park a one ton van next to me in a hospital parking lot. She clipped my front end hard enough to dent the front bumper just a bit. Now believe it or not, she went to security & reported it and they announced it over the PA system and I got her contact & insurance information...
You might look at the ARB bumper, I put one on after a valet parking attendant gifted me with the right rear pushed in just barely touching the body. It seem like it was around $500 bucks. The only drawback I had was trying to get a pin in the trailer hitch, I had to cut away a little metal...
I had a kid service advisor pull that crap on me, said my transmission plug was stripped on my Ram Cummins, I said then you must have done it since nobody has ever touched it, it magically became OK after that. I usually do my own stuff, just don't like transmission work.
Nice writeup D60, I'm also a retired machinist & don't know how anybody without those skills gets by with the way things are made these days. It seems like everything you buy needs to be modified or repaired in some way for it to function as expected.
Boy that's no shit, you can't have too much truck! I've got both, Ram dually Cummins & a Tremor, I pull the Jeep with the dually, here's a pic of my camper, definitely not over loaded.efinitely not overloaded.
Same issue in Moab, they're closing over 300 miles of trails around Moab from vehicle traffic. SideXsides seem to be the biggest issue, but assholes come in all shapes & vehicles.
