I posted 2 months ago about my minor fender bender in a parking lot.

Essentially an almost unnoticeable cut in the plastic by the license plate.

Their insurance is curting me a check for 985. Figure maybe a bumper or maybe a light bar or pod lights but figure I'll ask everyone here whay you'd do with a free 1000 dollar budget.

I don't really have any off road trails near me so don't need it to be specifically focused there but not opposed to a new bumper but probably don't need a winch.

Get a tune and then buy something nice for your other half with what’s left or take them for a nice dinner.

Best “gas mileage“you’ll ever get.

Any recommended tune? I've admittedly not read too much into the tunes yet

Seriously I would do the suspension over. When I had my '19 changing it out to the Eibach was a night/day difference in the ride and handling. Not only off road but on pavement too it takes away the "wallowing" where the ass end feels like it wants to pass you.

Id gert the road active springs, and a hard cover trifold tunnel cover, and if any dough was left over a hard wired trailer brake controller.
Not an expensive tunnel cover the 200 or 300 dollar one from real truck.

Thats what id do

I’m not tuned but there are a ton of options - Ford Performance tune protects your warranty (sort of) and the Livernois tune has great flexibility for fuel choices. Research those two here on the forums - lots of info. Reach out to members who haved posted in those areas. Most are helpful and will respond. Others just want to convince you to buy a tailgate damper or 303 Graphene Detailer. ;)

But everyone knows, Duke’s 404 is 101 times better. ?

If your planning on keeping it long term, and you don't have one, put it toward the Ford ESP....extended warranty thru Flood or Granger Ford.
Get that first, and get the toys later....

I had the Livernois tune in my '19 and really liked it. It smoothed out the shifts and gave you just enough added hp/tq when needed. What's nice is they have 5 different tunes 87-89 soft shift & performance tune, 91-93 soft shift & performance tune and a tow tune. You can play around with them all and see which one you like for your driving style. It's easy to flash between tunes and only takes about 2-3 minutes to do.

I'm selling my Livernois Mycal tuner if you or anyone else is interested. I'm not going to tune my '23 as it's been shifting really good.

I second Dave's idea of the shocks. Just changing the back ones made a world of difference. I put in the Bilstein 5100's
