Have been a ford truck owner since 1986 and have been happy since day one. Hoping the 2021 Ranger continues the streak.

1986 Ford Ranger XL Regular Cab 2.9L EFI V6 5 speed manual best car or truck I have ever had. Over 250,000 miles only regular maintenance and 1 clutch used it more then the brakes. Gave away in 2006 still running.

2003 F-150 XLT Extended Cab 4.2L V6 Auto not driven as much wife used for work. It currently has 113,000 miles no issues still have and using.

2021 Ranger Lariat Supercab should have went to Supercrew to follow the upgrade pattern, but wanted the bigger bed. Only use for camping and overland trips so low mileage about 12,800 now. Hope this one gives me 20 years trouble free also.

From the looks of things, the scab may hold more value, if you ever want to sell it.

Looks like the supercab may go the way of the dodo, but I hope not.

Yes, we Supercab owners own what is the "creme de la creme" of Ranger's !!! Driving one shows you have impeccable taste, and know the finer things in life !!!
Sure to become collectors vehicles in the near future !!! :like:

I've had 2 Ranger SuperCabs, a 2000 and a 2010. Then an F150 SuperCab, the room in all 3 was Ok, but the only thing I hated about them was the actual doors. Now, I love my 2021 SuperCrew, the doors open the right way and still plenty of room if I have passengers.

Yes the doors are the only downside especially in parking lots, but 4 regular doors on a pickup just do not look right in my opinion.

Had 2002 S-Cab FX4 with 4.0 V6 - bought new. Traded it in for a 2007 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Grabber Orange.

Bought a used 1998 Ranger regular cab to supplement the stang. Bought it with only 30K miles on it.

Sold the 98 to a coworker. She still has it and loves it. A bit over 100K on it now. Sold the GT, ordered and bought the pictured 2019 s-cab now. 38K on it and hoping the Ranger gremlins don't come and blow it up anytime soon.

I had a pre-taco extended cab a while back and it was great, but the rear doors on my Ranger scab are a game changer. I love the Ranger and it's the first Ford I've owned. Actually, the first American vehicle I've ever owned. I don't really pay much attention to all the Henny Penny 'the sky is falling' noise about the trans, etc.... but, I won't say it doesn't make me worried for the future.

However, I am happy with it so far and unless a PHEV scab falls out of the sky, I'll be driving this truck for a long time.

I've said many times a PHEV would get me to trade, but at this point, I think it would have to be a PHEV with 4 doors and a 6' bed (which seems incredibly unlikely). My truck is paid off, and I just don't see much new available that would entice me to upgrade, plus I like the look of the 5G better. The new trailer backup assist option is pretty cool (I absolutely suck at backing up trailers since I don't do it often), but again, it isn't really enough to override the "paid for" feature my current truck has.

As time goes on, I kind of feel like I will be driving my 2019 for a very long time. I had my last Ranger for 13 years and I'm thinking this one will be at least that long. While I liked my last Ranger a lot, I like this one even more. It has been a fantastic truck for me.

Being loyal to a for profit corporation is weird.

It is nearly on par with being loyal to a political entity.
Maybe loyal is not the best word what I was trying to say is I have had very good luck with Ford trucks so I will continue to buy them. If something is not broken why fix it?

I'm confused... you mean someone other than Ford makes trucks? News to me. When did this start?

I tend to agree with this. I mean no manufacturer is perfect but for the past 28 years I've always had good luck with all my Fords. I've had numerous F150's and several vans for work and besides a few minor things all have been great. My '19 Ranger (RIP) was flawless and so far my "23 Tremor is as well.:inlove:

Tried the Tacoma back in 2016 and lets just say it wasn't a good experience. :puke:?

Get it rustproofed if you haven't already.
I have a SCab also, have no need for a full back seat.
Had two Rangers before but my kids got too big to fit in the back so I got two Sport Tracs, now kids are grown and gone so I don't need a back seat and I'd rather have a longer bed.
