  3. Finally did it. Bought the Maverick

No, I plan to sell the Ranger? I live in a townhouse atm and only have two parking spaces available. I received an email from Ford that the Maverick has shipped. Not sure how long it will take to get here, however. Guessing maybe a week?
  4. Finally did it. Bought the Maverick

I have that exact truck on order. Received an email couple of days ago that it has been built and off the assembly line. Not sure how long it will take to get here, however. This will be my retirement vehicle as well. 110 days to go! (Yes, I am counting) Congrats on the purchase.
  5. Battery Saver Mode

And if you tend to leave a phone charger plugged in at all times, stop doing that. The cord will still draw current even if the phone isn't attached. This will drain the battery a lot faster. Been there, done that. After the battery replacement and unplugging the cord, no issues since.

  9. Old Rangers Never Die

I had a 1998 Ranger, single cab, 4 x 4 with the straight 6 in it. I sold it right before I purchased my 2019. I sold it to a co-worker, and she still drives and loves the little truck. It has paint worn off in places and the rust has started on the sides she said.

  11. Generation Rankings

I sold my 1998 regular cab, 4WD to my coworker prior to my purchase of my current Ranger. She continues to own the truck and loves it. 3.0 six cylinder and keeps on filling her needs for it. It was a good truck for me, but I wanted to get back to an S-Cab again.

  16. Loyal to Ford Trucks

Had 2002 S-Cab FX4 with 4.0 V6 - bought new. Traded it in for a 2007 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Grabber Orange. Bought a used 1998 Ranger regular cab to supplement the stang. Bought it with only 30K miles on it. Sold the 98 to a coworker. She still has it and loves it. A bit over 100K on it...
  17. Mileage update

Ordered and received 5/19. Almost 38K. No major issues "yet". However, somehow something slammed into the A/C condenser and had to get it replaced. Other than that, the usual Ranger type of things that have been discussed. Not sure yet if I will roll the dice and keep until one the known major...

Received my 2019 in May of that year. Nothing major at this time. Did change the battery, however. I relate that to keeping my phone charger plugged in 24/7. No issues since.
  19. Noob Here - Tire Upgrade from Stock

If I remember correctly, Costco will not put new tires on a vehicle other than what is considered stock and as indicated on the driver side door frame. Of course, memory is the second thing to go, and I can't remember the first. Good luck on your decision.
