New FordPass app just sux, literally worthless to actually use.

Meh, I like the new interface of the app.

having to push and hold to do anything was dumb and didn't work if you moved your finger a little bit while holding it registered it as a no longer holding and the command failed.

I wish they had included some features like saving pictures or customizing the image of the truck. but, meh, it isn't fords job to create an app for me to save receipts. . . although I can see how that would be a nice to have...

also, I wonder if whatever is going on with the battery issues is coincidental, not caused by the app update. . .

Wow! I can still do it...cause I never updated. I add stuff in case of a warranty issue, and tire rotations in case I need the tire warranty (I don't think my Wildpeaks are making it to 55K miles).

I tend not to update non-security/unimportant apps because "performance improvements and bug fixes" is almost always code for "we added ads".

I didn't update on purpose, didn't even know it had until I saw a thread here ...

I found it. Have to first login and then: www.ford.com/support/service-history select Add Record

It's under view vehicle details,then scroll down to quick links,then click service history.Pain in the ass.

I can say It works pretty well for me. I also disliked the press and hold function to activate stuff. It also seems a tad more responsive, don't have to wait quite as long before an unlock, lock cycle. The slide to start seems to work just fine.
I agree though, certain features are not quite as intuitive to find.

Mine finally updated recently - not sure if I like the new look but will probably get used to it. I have found most things I’m used to viewing but haven’t found the warranty information or the Owner’s Manual yet. Maybe they were omitted, maybe I just haven’t waded deep enough yet. ?‍

My ridge grappler didnt make it to 25k I dont even have 30k on the truck
OP is right the new app sucks, so what did they add in the new app?
then they should have left it TF alone

It is probably a waste of time recording the rotations but I'll try anyways. From what I've read the 55k tire warranty is pretty much always denied. Has anyone actually gotten free tires from them wearing out too soon?
