This is my shocked look...
My local dealer hasn't had any new Rangers in stock for the past two years at least, save a special order. A couple of used ones, but that is it. When I purchased mine in February 2020, they had at least 5 in stock. Also, in this market anyway I haven't see a single advertisement that even shows a Ford Ranger, much less making it a focal point of the ad. Of course I live in Mayberry or Bugtussle (depending on your preference), maybe you guys in the larger markets might have seen an ad with a Ranger? Inquiring minds want to know. They don't even have any Ranger apparel...

I have seen the passing image of a Ranger in Ford commercials from time to time over the years, but it's been very infrequent and I ca t remember EVER seeing a commercial featuring a Ranger. It's no wonder sales are down and there are few on the lots. I don't know why they even bothered to bring the Ranger to North America. I'll keep this one til I just can't anymore since it's paid for, but I probably won't try and buy another one.

I think they want it to go away again...which boggles my mind. They want the F150 and the Maverick and that's it.

That's a shame. But, since they aren't going to make a PHEV Ranger then I probably wouldn't be in the market anyway. Maybe they will do something smart with the Maverick like give it real 4wd and put the PHEV in that and then I will buy one of those.

The way I am reading this is they sold the fewest units in Q4 of 2023 which makes sense considering they stopped making them in Q2 (?) of 2023 and the 2024 Ranger was announced in Q3 of 2023.

Wake me up if they can't sell 2024's off the lot whenever they show up.

we see zero ads for it here in the Bay Area California. also nearly impossible to find one on a lot used, new is even more rare. occasionally a top of the line fully loaded one on a lot. /seems to me sales are down because production is down, the ones they make sure seem to get sold

Ranger went from the best selling small truck to the bastard child of Ford. It all has to do with the CAFE requirements. I think

The ranger is built on the same line as the Bronco and as hot as the bronco has been the ranger was put on the back burner so to speak. I would guess with with the 6gen coming out very soon we may start seeing some trucks and commercials.

And they were all 2023’s. I surprised they sold that many.

When I try to search online inventory at my local dealer, "Ranger" doesn't even show up in the list. Maybe because they don't have any, but it seems like the Ranger is gone. Maybe the price is too high nowadays. I don't get the elimination of the 6 foot bed in the 2024 model. I love my Ranger and would hate to be in a Tacoma in the future.

ford has rangers to sell ? shit... i didnt think ford actually sold stuff people wanted. the past few years they been busy selling pre orders, then back listing while raising the prices, that way dealers still end up with the stock so it gets price gauged to the max. market adjusted price they call it. customer call it piss on ford.

I bought my 2020 Lariat at Halpin Ford ( described as the #1 Ford Dealer in the World) in Sep 2020. Then, there were so many new Rangers on the lot, I could browse every model and color. Now, they advertise they have over 210 new Bronco/Bronco sports and only 2 new ( one 2023 XLT and one 2022 Roush) Rangers. And, they have 8 used Rangers.
But, they dedicate a page to the new 2024 Ranger and Ranger Raptor- Order now, and wait...!

I agree Rangers in my area have been a hard find since '21 when i actually had a order and then never got built so i moved on to a used one and the last several months there have been no stock at most of the dealers here in NJ.
