I am a huge fan of Ford pickup trucks since I was a young buck. I bought my first Ford pickup in 1972 when I was 16. Since then, I've always owned a minimum of one, and from 2013 to 2022, I had three parked in the garage & driveway. Last year I finally sold the 2004 F150 and 2011 Ranger. I replaced the 2011 Ranger with a new Tremor in Sept 2022 and parked it in the garage next to my 2000 F250. I have a 2024 Jeep Sahara and a 2020 Escape that are our daily run around vehicles.
As I get older, I find myself thinking about downsizing and a few weeks ago decided that maybe I should put the F250 up for sale. The Ranger as of today, has only been driven a little over 300 miles in 14 months. The F250 is almost 24 years old now and only has 29,884 miles on it. Yesterday was the first time that I drove the Ranger more than a couple of miles in one trip. (I put on a whopping 120 miles on it yesterday). As I was driving I got to comparing the F250 and the Ranger and now I am torn as what to do. Keep the F250 or keep the Ranger?
Both are top of the line vehicles and have every option that was offered. Both have been kept inside and have never been in the snow, salt or on a gravel road. Both are in pristine showroom condition.
Your thoughts, which one would you keep? (Maybe just keep them both?)
