Unless I missed a part of the thread I don't see anyone discussing the largest tire size w/o modifications for 16" rim. My 2023 XL 4x4 Extended Cab has OEM Bridgestone Dualer HS in 255/70R16 and I need to move up to a true LT tire for moving heavy materials in the bed. From what my math tells me I can squeeze a 265/75R16, which averages 31.5" diameter, into the front well with at least .75" to spare. Is this the be size or is a 245/75R16 a better fit, which is only pretty much the same 30.5" diameter as the OEM tire.
Your thoughts on the best/largest size for 16" rim w/o lift or spacers?..

Sorry to hear about the snag...Out of curiosity, what offset did you run?Just put 265/70/17 on Method 316 17/8.5 and got the rubs. Didn't take into account that the wheel offset was so far off the stock 18" wheels. 2" level and new ReadyLift intrusion bars coming next week.
Yeah, it's on me for not doing all my homework. Ordered the wheels at 0 offset not realizing stock was +55.Sorry to hear about the snag...Out of curiosity, what offset did you run?
Lift and narrow crash bars worked!Just put 265/70/17 on Method 316 17/8.5 and got the rubs. Didn't take into account that the wheel offset was so far off the stock 18" wheels. 2" level and new ReadyLift intrusion bars coming next week.
I was able to stuff 285/70/17s on mine, 2.5 level and some slight grinder action lmaoLift and narrow crash bars worked!

I put some bronco tires on mine. 255/75/17. No rubbing. Though i fear if i get aggressive off road tires they may rub. It clears by less than an inch. I have a 4x2, take it hunting and on dirt a lot. Truck works just fine with lockers. Fx2. I do 35 percent off road or so. But i do not off road. Have dueller a/t. I hope it helps a little, i know 17 not the same as 16Unless I missed a part of the thread I don't see anyone discussing the largest tire size w/o modifications for 16" rim. is this with no lift or with leveling kit???the lighter fits loosely at the rear, and tightly in the front. Lighter dimensions are 5/8ths thick and one inch wide.

Cool looking set up! Looking forward to hearing how the tires perform for you over time!As a follow up, I went with Continental TerraContact AT's in 265/75R16. They feel very good under the truck at all speeds, are quiet and have the right look for a "work mule".
