umm, you're the one that revived a thread that died 2 months ago
Let's all agree, to disagree, that we agree, that maybe, just maybe, the arse end of the Ranger is a bit high......
Of course whether you agree, or disagree, depends on your perception of what is "high"....
If your 4' 7" tall, it's high. If your 6' 9", I guess it would be "standard".....

Nope, I can't agree.

My pool of available bitching subjects is already getting shallow.

I won't let you scoop out another ladle of gripe juice.

Have I mentioned the lack of knobs for climate control?

Absolute proof that the rake is too tall and that it's a serious design flaw ....

But ... there's a solution for us Ranger owners with only 2WD.

Soupie's nose is in the garage on what started out as a rainy day getting a boost from the CTEK.

The front wheels are about 2 inches higher up than the rear based on driveway slope, cement pad height of the garage, and RaceDeck tiles. And with that 2 inch "front lift" the bed is nearly level judging by the standing water on the tonneau!

And when I read what @Grumpaw wrote above, the solution hit me hard.

I'm going to put bigger tires on the front!

Using the TacomaWorld tire calculator dealio, it says if I keep the stock 255/70R16s on the rear, then put 325/70R16s on the front, it should give me the 2 inches I need! =D

Here is the solution.

I've just been too blind to the actual practicality of this mod.
