beat me to it!
if its hot and sunny it will keep the taco warm too. kinda like an upside to poor insulation from ford. beware the taco lite and super taco from taco hutt (taco casa ) do not fit, they are too wide.

Lol that is what happens when the vehicle is baking in the sun and the windows are not cracked!! Also I found the remote start feature on Ford Pass to be very convenient on the Ranger. I actually miss it

I always use the remote on the key to start it - but that only works halfway down the stairwell - and I get annoyed with half the time the ford pass app not reading my press and hold . . . LOL

I use the app to schedule start at 5pm workdays. Hasn't failed to start yet and we have I credibly crappy cell service inside our building. One to two bars max at any given time.

I keep my EZ Pass up there because that big black box behind the rear view mirror gets in the way of a good place to put it on the windshield. I just have to remember to put it on the dash when I need it!

Didn't the Passat have a garage door opener built in though? I know my 2001 did, ymmv.
It was included on certain trim levels. I think mine is called Sportline - no garage door opener but plenty of imitation carbon fibre interior panels and paddle shifters that never get used. ?

That makes sense.

Come winter I will probably do that in the mornings even if I don't leave the house to melt snow... ?

My black truck probably gets up to 140 in ten minutes in the northeast. Never had a vehicle this bad in the summer and the ac needs to scream just to keep up. Black Trucks Suck. BTS.

We were just talking about how loud the ac was yesterday.

To be specific, 1-4 is quiet, 5 and 6 it's louder but 7 makes conversation challenging - the fan is just so damn loud. Loud enough that I'm wondering if it's normal... ?

Mine is the loudest ac ever on sunny days. Otherwise you cook. Blows ice cold but very low flow. I can't take the noise wearing hearing aids (they have great background noise control but this isn't background noise) so we drive my wife's Forester on hot days. That thing has very quiet and fast ac along with 32 mpg lately.
