Check out the new version of transition lenses. They are light sensitive, not just triggered by UV. They work while driving now!
I have tried the extra transition and they're darker, quicker and do darken a bit inside the truck but not like when stepping out side into the sun...

Now, that's a great idea.
So if the dogs of choice are shorter than the bun then you need to slice them lengthwise and offset the slices to get a dog bite in each part of the bun…

I was told eyeglasses darken by UV from the sun (or artificial source) and they won't work while driving because windshields block UV.

Do yours darken while driving ? Mine don't.
No, they don't while in the car. But, I have to wear my glasses all the time so I don't wear sunglasses anymore. I haven't really had issues in the truck though. I guess I've just adapted.

That's interesting, mine may actually darken in the truck and I just never noticed.

Fun fact. I got new glasses a few years ago, and one of the lenses wasn't right, so they got it replaced. When I got them I never noticed, but the new lense wasn't a transition, it stayed clear. I never noticed. I guess your brain filters that stuff out. I went to pick up my brother for something, and he says, what's with the glasses? I said what do you mean? He took a pic and showed me. One side dark, one side clear. I never new it.

In my Passat, it’s where I keep the garage door opener.
Didn't the Passat have a garage door opener built in though? I know my 2001 did, ymmv.
