Well I got the springs installed and it took me 3 hrs by my self with air tools.. Not to happy how much it raised the back end. Does it settle back down some?Icon says .375 with out the other spring, they’re way off on that.
Maybe I should put a few hundred pounds in the bed for a few weeks.

It will settle when you drive for awhile.

It will defiantly settle after a while. Add a few bags of sand to the bed for a week or so and it will speed things up:

mine never settled out. they sat 1.25” higher and until i swapped them. never figured out why. the ride was butter though!
if i put 2 45lb plates in the back it’s dropped a half inch haha, so it was definitely on option 1.
strangly when i tossed stock fx4 shocks on it was dead on 3/8-1/2” over stock. put eibachs back on and went up to 1.25” again. strange stuff! icon said it was the pressure in the eibachs pushing the rear up…beats me, never seen that happen before until
then!

Well it feels much better wile driving but it’s up about an inch and a half from where it was.. I do have aftermarket shocks but I really don’t think that is pushing it up that much and I may just unbolt them to see it it really does..
‘I’m going to pick up a few bars of paver stone dust for a project I have coming up and leave them in the back for a few weeks to see what it does.. I want it down at least an inch or more from where it is now..

I'm just putting this out there... did you have sagging stock springs to start with and your OEM measurement is from that? I know mine sag bad from having the camper and stuff for 2 years(about 500lbs constant). there's maybe 1/2" - 3/4" between bump stop and plate when the bed is completely empty with the 300lb camper still on.

that seams about what I would gain whenever I get around to blowing $$$ on Icon springs

Edit to add: I just went out and measured- truck is level with 3/4" lift in the front and bare bones storage and gear in the back. throw in some junk I have a carolina squat... maybe it's time to bite the bullet

my stock springs are not sagged at all. I was trying to get rid of the bouncing and rocking and installed shocks also..I’m measuring before and after spring change. And the bump stops are a mile from the spring.

I keep going back and forth on these versus ordering the global multi-leaf springs from across the pond.

I also saw one reviewer on Stage3 said he removed the 3rd leaf entirely, leaving the pack with 5 leaves. They said the truck rides great, and it left it right at stock ride height. I know this isn't one of ICON's options and they're not going to recommend it, but could it really hurt?

It cooled off here for today so driving with the windows open and now I have a squeak coming from the springs. If i push down do on the rear bumper to move the suspension in the rear it squeaks. Great now I have another project to fix.. anyone else have an issue with the noise?

get a needle tip for a grease gun and spray some grease between the leaves. It’ll stop squeaking.

Just get the global Leaf Packs IMO. Unless you gonna have alot of constant weight in the bed. I got mine for about 450$ shipped

Thanks, Jeff. I pulled the trigger on a pair. Only other thing I need is the longer U-bolts, right?
