What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

pretty nifty! never seen those lights before, how do you like them? are they pricey?

i love them, plenty of light output!
But they are expensive AF! around 250$/CAD each

today Abbs and I went to the Wichita mountains, took a zip up and down the hills, went by Fort Sill and resisted the urge to steal one of those "Dangerous road artillery may pass over keep moving" signs and then we saw some buffalo. Ignore the date. every time I change batts in the camera it goes back to 2008.

One of the signs would be cool for the garage. No pics riding the buffalo??

they would be pretty sweet on the garage wall but... something about lifting one from an army base seems like a good way to get in trouble. sure someone has before. one of the buffalo did want me to ride him after i shared some cheetoos puffs with him but i wasnt tall enough to swing my leg over and thought it rude to ask him to lay down. plus after the puffs were gone it seemed like the friendship had sailed.

I found the speed at which my magnetic GMRS antenna comes free from the roof. Looks like I may need to redo the connection end of the cable as it pulled hard on it when the antenna came off, ripped the heat shrink open and looks like it pulled at 90 degrees. For now the antenna is in the bed, cap on the passthrough on the tonneau cover and the face of the radio stowed. Looks like the marks from the initial fall where the rod whipped the roof will buff out.

Ranger took me on a day trip to The Ford/Fordson club antique tractor and engine show yesterday In Evansville In. Tractors by the hundreds, steam engines, hit and mis engines.

Rangers first flaw. Blowing hot air on drivers side vents. The dreaded HVAC box issue. Good thing I have an extended warrantee. To the dealer on Tuesday.

Bummer about the HVAC issue but good you have the extended warranty.

Drove to forest and observed that:
- All black walnuts are dead after winter
- All Gingkos are dead after winter
- All Chestnuts are dead after winter
- None of the red oak acorns germinated
- None of the english walnuts germinated
- There's plenty of herb paris (Paris quadrifolia) in the woods

Oh well, this means that.. If you fail, try again and pray for global warming.

While excavating Dave’s new basement, we found a tunnel.

I’m pretty sure it either leads to Mexico or to the female inmate wing at the Perryville Prison in Goodyear, AZ. We’re covering it over with plywood just to be safe.

Packed up for a 400 mile drive from Allentown Pennsylvania to Duck N.C. an puter banks town. Spending a week with my family at a rental house shot walk to the beach on the ocean side. Food, drink, swim ocean then back to sit in the hot tub. Someone has to do it.
