What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Ranger took me on a day trip to The Ford/Fordson club antique tractor and engine show yesterday In Evansville In. Tractors by the hundreds, steam engines, hit and mis engines.

Rangers first flaw. Blowing hot air on drivers side vents. The dreaded HVAC box issue. Good thing I have an extended warrantee. To the dealer on Tuesday.

Love the old tractors.

Bummer about the HVAC issue but good you have the extended warranty.

Drove to forest and observed that:
- All black walnuts are dead after winter
- All Gingkos are dead after winter
- All Chestnuts are dead after winter
- None of the red oak acorns germinated
- None of the english walnuts germinated
- There's plenty of herb paris (Paris quadrifolia) in the woods

Oh well, this means that.. If you fail, try again and pray for global warming.

While excavating Dave’s new basement, we found a tunnel.

I’m pretty sure it either leads to Mexico or to the female inmate wing at the Perryville Prison in Goodyear, AZ. We’re covering it over with plywood just to be safe.

today Abbs and I went to the Wichita mountains, took a zip up and down the hills, went by Fort Sill and resisted the urge to steal one of those "Dangerous road artillery may pass over keep moving" signs and then we saw some buffalo. Ignore the date. every time I change batts in the camera it goes back to 2008.

Packed up for a 400 mile drive from Allentown Pennsylvania to Duck N.C. an puter banks town. Spending a week with my family at a rental house shot walk to the beach on the ocean side. Food, drink, swim ocean then back to sit in the hot tub. Someone has to do it.

Still detailed from Carlisle last weekend so I gave it a bath and a fresh spray of tire shine and put it in the annual Beaver Falls, PA car cruise.

Did some truck stuff today. Loaded up some ladders and scaffolds and headed over to my daughters to help with power washing her house and hanging some lights on her patio. Managed to complete the job, get back home and unload the Ranger before the much-needed rain started.
Hopefully it will wash all the dust off.

After four days my truck is still at the audio shop (projected as 3-day build)...says they now need through Tuesday. At first, I was frustrated but this is not your average car stereo build. So being patient while it's done right. Plan to do a large post once the build is done. It's a sponsored build (i.e., they're covering all labor) so they've assured me progress photos. We shall see.

We went to Lake Seminole. Saw an alligator or two. I would have gotten a better pic, but…I can’t swim.?‍?
