HA HA!Took my driving test in a '78 Ford wagon. Piece of cake on the maneuverability portion. Plenty of windows to see everything. Who needs backup cameras. I think driving that for a few years helped with my 'feel' for where the corners of a vehicle are.
I learned to drive in Chevy's similar shaped 1977 Caprice Estate wagon complete with fake woodgrain panels sometime around 1982.HA HA!
I learned in a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Wagon.
Ours was white with a maroon and faux BURLWOOD interior.

Yep. With the good ol' steel bumpers it was much less risky to "feel" where the limit was!Took my driving test in a '78 Ford wagon. Piece of cake on the maneuverability portion. This.I've always used my mirrors and never rely on the rear camera either. The only thing I'll use it for is to check the distance of how close I'm getting when I'm backing up against a wall.
Yep, I remember driving around Atlanta in the early 80's in a 1966 International Harvester ex-farm truck. The best part was driving past 3 miles of cars backed up at the I-285 to I-75 north exit. I'd keep driving until I was close to the actual exit lane, look for a Mercedes/Cadillac/BMW, and just start turning in. They'd always let me in! ;-)Yep. Periodically when I see a case of stupid on the road I wish my Ranger was about a '68 F100. Put that nice bumper to good use.
Your link doesn't work because there's a period in front of https.Took my test in a VW Beetle.

Sure…tell it to your Granny, Fred!?For some of us, parking is a challenge even with the Ranger. I was totally shocked when I came back to my truck last week after parking. My only theory is that Tracy drove over from Alabama and moved my truck somehow. ?

Pluck the log…you know the saying, Mr.!Fred, not you too??
Maybe this will help?? I'm making extra copies for Tracy @Tracy Bowman and Paul @OrangeStreak. Actually for Paul I'm making up a whole ream.

Shocking!?I don't know, that's an awfully complicated looking drawing ? Besides, I'm sticking with my story that Tracy did it!
