Not long after I bought the Ranger in February, I could hear the rear seat back flopping when I would come to a stop. I didn't know about the 5G forum or the TSB resource yet, but I could see the loop on the seat back wasn't lining up with the latch that's mounted to the cab. Ford has since...
Mine is genetic (C9ORF72). A company announced this summer that they were able to shut it down in the lab with CRISPR, but commercialization is years out and won't be ready in time for me.
I was diagnosed with ALS last spring, so I can't even get up there to look. My brother helped me install it earlier this year when i was getting around better. I'll have to get him or wifey to have a look. Either way, it snaps onto the brackets with rubber grommets, so no tools needed for removal.
This is the Amazon Bronco engine cover. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it covers adequately, and I was motivated since it was cheaper and I didn't want to bother returning it. It came with four brackets, but the one at the driver's side firewall wouldn't fit because of the difference in A/C...
I haven't had any issues with my 2023, but there is an active TSB 23-2123. The short story is that the adaptive tuning logic doesn't have enough range to deal with wear over time. The fix is an adaptive learning cycle and/or a valve body overhaul. https://www.tsbsearch.com/Ford/23-2123
I ordered one from Amazon for a Bronco ($100) The Bronco A/C lines are different, so we had to trim it a bit and only 3 of 4 brackets would fit, but it covers all four coils/sparkplugs, so I can live with it.

I bought the full setup with both controllers. My Brother and I spent a good part of a day installing it and it was a "pain in the ass" for two old farts old enough to collect social security! That said, I wouldn't want to be towing a trailer and have the AEB system not engage the trailer...
Yep, I remember driving around Atlanta in the early 80's in a 1966 International Harvester ex-farm truck. The best part was driving past 3 miles of cars backed up at the I-285 to I-75 north exit. I'd keep driving until I was close to the actual exit lane, look for a Mercedes/Cadillac/BMW, and...
I just looked at mine and the spark plug coil at the back of the head appears to be blocked in by a fuel line (high pressure fuel pump?) There's also a fuel hard line laying next to it that looks like it would prevent rotating the coil to get it out from under the other fuel line.
My bypass valve showed up today. Any hints on how you routed the wiring?
BTW, I did something similar but more primitive on an '82 Volvo wagon. Back then Volvo didn't install A/C at the factory, so the US importer installed it. The A/C was very inconsistent, sometimes cold, sometimes not. I...
