Changed the oil. Finally found the right spot to put the drain pan for removing the filter.
I think I'll start spending the extra money for K&N filters with the nut on the end.

Changed my oil for the 2nd time. WAY easier than the first, since I didn't crank the filter to 100 ft/lbs, like the factory did.
FYI I replaced the plugs on the inner fender splash guard with magnets. Makes the job much easier and faster.

Took the truck out and my friends out on light offroading in Anza. Light offroading due to my friend having a stock suburu outback so it had to be nothing too crazy. Got to a nice camp spot next to a sandstone cliff and enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful temperature in Anza Borrego right now, 85 daytime, high 60's nighttime.

chopped the reducer added another 3 inch section of stainless and a vband on my new to me afe twisted down pipe. waiting on my o2 sensor spacer. should arrive next week hopefully in time to modify the rest of my 3inch cutback I had previously made with a flowmaster 10 series. it's been a while since I've really done any tig welding so I'm rusty but it's glued together.

Last vacation day and I was really good and focused only on the garage ... BUT I had to do something for Soupie for all the flawless dump runs this week (4 of them!).

So I did the Putco install without removing the valence - it was incredibly easy. The only change was my battery tender plug, but that ended up in a better spot that kind of looks like it's made for it (the opening on the other side is for my James Bond machine gun. shhh ... feds everywhere ...

so my 4g has had a lot of attention lately. in the past few weeks it has gotten a new head unit and all new speakers, oil change, transmission fluid and filter change, pan cleaned up to a shine, rear diff got cleaned up and new fluid, new windshield washer sprayers, gave it the sea foam treat meant, new air filter. running like a top ? considering some new shocks all the way around and new tires.

Yesterday I replaced stock rear speakers with some 6.75” Rockford Fosgates and today I had time to only do the passenger front’s with new Alpine 6.5” and tweeter.
