These kinda reminds me of a video from "The South Main Auto" YouTube channel. It was kinda long but there was I think Chevy that was popping up rando codes and other things. He showed the trouble shooting steps that he did and had to break out the wiring diagrams to finally trace it down to a corroded chassis ground. I'm not saying that's your issue. I'm just saying that these vehicles have gotten way more complicated nowadays. I was in IT for 20 years and it kinda reminded me of my old job when he broke out the diagrams. Good luck
Found the video of anyone is interested.

Seems like a safety issue to me. From a liability perspective, if I were that service manager and my techs had witnessed the error messages, I would have secured you a loaner and not let you leave with the Ranger. Technically, by sending you out the door to come back if it did it again, they opened the dealer up to liability if it caused you to be in an accident.

Truck dropped off Thursday evening. No codes driving it there, go figure.
Dealer had it all day Friday, I pick it up, no codes for them, can see old codes? Drove it about 30 miles and no codes.
Reiterated codes come when you start it and stay on.
“Bring it back” We will get if figure out and get it repaired.
Told me to unplug everything radar and dash cam, “raptor LED bar in the grill. “Maybe one of those are the problem” Seriously, LED plug in play bulbs and 2 cigar plugs??

Today code/fault of fortune struck again. Only this time the truck was completely dead. Nothing. Had to turn the key off and on 3 or 4 times before it started.
Happened twice.
So do I call ford or just go to a lawyer that specializes in lemon law and let them handle it?
I’m not going to a different ford dealer, I should not have to do that.
I have to thank ford for the money they are saving me though. Only thing going into this shit box is gas till I can get rid of it.

I'm leaning towards an ignition switch, or something tied into the Anti-Theft, more-so the ignition switch, which would possibly explain why its intermittent, something is preventing all the modules to see powered up and engine started.
Now possible bad battery and a BMS reset but in troubleshooting difficult issues, its best to start at the point of what gets turned, switched or actuated and has a common point between all inoperative items.

Try this when they pop up again, take steering wheel and move it up and down (tilt function) and rap lightly on the steering wheel covers around the switch and bottom of the steering wheel covers.
I am suspecting the ignition switch and or wiring to it, is not making full contact and allowing power on all pins of the connector.
As of yet, I have not experienced any issues like yours, but the Ranger is very picky and I have seen others post starting issues due to modules not communicating properly, Such as No-Start then magically starts after 10 to 15 minutes. Makes Zero sense to me. I plan on digging into that scenario as to what actually is preventing a start then all of a sudden start with no issues.
With the truck being so picky, I wonder if the Battery is the whole issue and be a good idea to monitor what the charging voltage is, as it is quite possible the system is seeing low voltage around 11.5 volts and shutting the modules down.
I'm just office chair troubleshooting here but I believe it is something simple and yet difficult to find, and due to the multiple systems effected the problem will be found common to all systems.

Door Ajar Switch, Ignition Switch and Or Anti-Theft, Can2 Bus, Battery and BMS system

The problem with the CAN2 bus is it is a communication line between the modules, any module or bad wire along the bus wiring will take out all modules along the bus, and if that bad wire is not in the right position, you will never find it without doing a shake test with a OHM meter and or trigger the faults while shaking the harness.

Internal module faults - tend to isolate when engine hot faults and no faults engine cold.
Expansion within the module (Heat)

If none of the above checks bad, then it's breaking apart the wiring system and checking each module separately - Isolate and divide the whole system to pinpoint a improper Voltage / OHM reading.

It's going to take some in depth troubleshooting but it can be found by someone dedicated in finding it, A Ford Tech, I doubt will want to devote a full shift into finding the needle in the haystack, I would possibly check the connector Phil pointed out behind the headlight but would have to dig into the wiring diagrams to find it and its common between all faults and issues.

So, for clarification, does the Faults pop up while driving on its own or do they pop up just after starting the truck.?

Have you tried giving the battery a good long charge?

I was just going to say, it would be embarrassing for the Service department if this turns out to be from a low battery.
it is possible. newer cars are very demanding on battery.

The thought has crossed my mind. What should be the best way to charge the battery? Take it out? Do it while connected? Haven’t changed a battery in a long time.
Sometimes the door chime will should off, like the battery is low. Never gave it much thought til you mentioned the battery charge.

You can do it while connected. Positive clamp to positive terminal. Negative side should go before the BMS system or be grounded to the body of the truck
