so about calling ford. its called customer care. flippin sense of humor in the name is awesome. they are tied to script and cannot and will not do anything of any description other than tell you to take it to a ford dealer and offer to help you find the dealer nearest to you. that is the 100% full extent of ford customer care. ford does not care and no amount of lawyers or laws will change that. trust me, ive gone that round with them only to be told ok bring it on lol. your only option other than paying out of pocket or getting rid of it is that you can take it to another dealer, leave it call ford care and tell them where it is and refuse to pick it up until they open a "case" and send a ford engineer over to asses the situation. good luck. you gonna need it.

Yeah, these car makers don't care about anyone once they have your money. I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow afternoon and see what service says.
Just luck of the draw, everybody makes good and bad vehicles truthfully. I have a felling they will fix it and then Ill look seriously into trading or selling it carvana or one of those outfits.

1 tech looked at my truck 8 hours, drove it 22 miles, no lights, couldn't get it to come on. Thinks its something in the net work?
Did pull a bunch of former codes or scraps of codes best way he put it.
I asked so what do I do if of happens again, bring it back because you know it will.
He said "well you may want to take it somewhere else for a 2nd opinion" :po_O
Yeah I guess I better drive another 40-50 miles out of the way, drop it off and figure out how to get home.
I guess I'll call ford Monday when I'm off and start looking at what I can do as far as lemon law.
Anybody know any garages in south east ohio that actually want to work on what they sell?
Place I bought it from is over 2 hours away.

OP, this truly sucks. When I was working as the shop foreman of a food and beverage distributor, We saw too many of these types of issues. I even had problems with the company president's Cadillac. From Freightliners to Fords and GM vehicles we had weird things crop up. One class 8 Tractor was so bad they changed the bulkhead module out and it did not even start. They put the old module back in and it ran fine. Go figure. I truly hope you get this worked out.

Hope it works out for ya man. Carvana did beat all other dealers in my area for Ranger sale. Love/hate relationship with that truck but I could see where the vibe issue was going with lack of dealer support and was not willing to fix on my own dime, hence the sale

Thanks all,
I'm going to pick it up in the morning. Supposed to leave me paperwork about what they found with the sales manager.
I see vehicles for what they are, tools. Disposable transportation. I wanted actually to do a few things to this truck. Now I want it gone as soon as possible.
Found a lemon law attorney through an attorney friend. I'm going to call Monday.
WV lemon law sates 3 times with no fix or 1 life safety issue.
Dash has shown brakes, ABS, and steering faults. Sure they disappear. Not sure how it can be proved that any of those would not fail.

Oh, and you guessed it.
Codes, faults all week end. But they can't figure out whats wrong.

just remember codes are a domino effect. one code can set off a series of other codes for a singular fault.

Contact Ford. You don’t need a lemon law attorney to take your money.

Contact the WV Attorney General on how to proceed with lemon law. Do not accept arbitration. Follow the steps to notify the manufacturer. West Virginia Attorney General’s Consumer Protection office at (304) 558-8986.

The Ranger is NOT a lemon ! ...or any other sour fruit , Rangers are sweet ! The Dealer and mechanics sound like the lemons to me , it most likely has one simple thing wrong causing all this chaos , loose or bad connector , chaffed wire , or bad whatever module , once properly diagnosed and repaired , LEMONAIDE !!!

Well,
This afternoon the service manager contacted me.
Asked how things were going and I told him “not good”. Codes and faults all day everyday.
He said “we will make this right and fix it”.
Wonder how he knew? Either reading this site, I’d say my issue is rare and my location is posted. Maybe the ford app? I said this truck is alerting my app now. He said “I know”.
Just weird.
Anyway goes back to them Friday.

That is great news. It’s sounds like they are accepting responsibility to see it through.
