Taco love for Ranger….

Yesterday going into my local Shoprite, I got a great parking spot right out front. I parked right next to a current gen Taco. It was a nice looking slightly modded truck. As I get out of my truck and walk towards the door, a guy walks out. He says “nice rig, that looks great”. I thanked him and told him I appreciated it. He then stated he “almost” bought a Ranger…..oh life can be so sweet sometimes.

Btw next time be careful parking to close to a dumpster, you never know what you'll catch.

I will usually start off by complementing said Tacoma and it's oblivious owner with things like "I really like the looks " and "they have a good track record " and then I start turning the knife blade a little , " Yeah, I test drove one and really liked it ! But then I drove a Ranger and " ... Usually ends with one of us flipping off the other , I shout "Oh what a feeling! " as he slowly lugs away...

I was picking up dinner last night and I parked around the side away from everyone, 2 open spaces on either side of the truck (there were no end spots anywhere). As i'm coming out this snowbird in his giant S550 starts to pull in next to my truck. Literally his tires are on the white line next to my truck.

I didn't even wait for him to stop, I jumped in and drove off. My daughter (10 y/o) in the backseat says, Geez dad some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive.

The amount of effort I put into staying away from other people and its like they find my truck.

My neighbor owns a Taco. Any time we are outside talking he comments on how nice my truck looks. They know better.

I was on the other side of the gas pump from a Taco TRD last week and the owner came over and asked how I like my Ranger XLT FX4. He asked quite a few questions about the Ranger and complemented me on my truck.
