That’s exactly why - I’m in the same situation. I had to test drive a Ranger from a nearby dealer to make sure it would fit in my garage before I drove to the out of town dealer I bought it from. Wider, taller, longer, than I thought it would be but it fits.
Same here. I test drove a new 2010 f150 , 1st thing I did was bring it home to see if it fit. When I bought my Ranger, before I did the level lift I stacked up 2 inch pavers and drove in on them to make sure I had clearance. After the lift and taller tires I drove home and saw I had 2 1/2 inches of clearance from my new antenna to the door trim so went back to the shop and we lifted it 1 more inch to full level 1?

Mike, I mounted my traction boards on top of the rifle cases on my topper’s roof rack - couldn’t back out of the garage - oops! ?‍♂ My garage is so small, I have to go outside to change my mind!

That looks like a tight squeeze there Duke. Good thing you didn't go with a + offset or your tires would be scraping the stops. lol

One of those decked out Thai Ranger F150s just wouldn’t fit.

Duke I couldn't put a light bar on top.if I wanted to, I would shear it off when I forgot it was up there plus I don't wanna drill holes in the roof or pillars. I had a blue and red light bar inside my unmarked Durango, it had a metal shroud to help block some of the bounce back light at night. I would flip the visor down to block it also put stick on weather stripping around the edge. Not sure I want white led off-road lights inside now. Would like to put an amber short bar in behind the grill or in front of it as long as I didn't have to cut anything. Often wondered if a stiff bracket could attach to the left and right Pillar brackets and mount a low profile bar on it.

I got tired of my f150 antenna scraping my garage door and trim so I took it off and cut off about 4 inches and epoxied the ball back on top, problem solved.

Ouch and here I am having regrets about making my garage door only 8 feet tall. If I backed into your garage it would send my roof top boxes flying.

It’s tight in all dimensions…

Pics will help us, new location installed and what you did with the oem hole?

Honestly if I was to ever move mine it would be completely off the roof. I had to have an alluminum adapter made that changes the antenna angle down and back and then the stubby antenna screws onto that. My lift required this due to only having a 6.5 foot garage door.
I'll snap a pic or two and post in a day or so.
