I thought I posted this already, but didn't see it as I was browsing this thread again. I apologize if it is a duplicate.

Here is the stock setup with no changes. It does rub at around 75% lock or so:

There is a plastic cover attached on the crash bar that can be removed. Here is a picture of the cover after I removed it. You can see the rub marks:

After removing, it is a tight fit, but no more rubbing:

Wtf....

Unacceptable for stock.

It’s weird because with the Fox 2.0 kit I thought it was really easy to squeeze 32s in there. I guess they have the fronts set a bit lower on the tremor kit which reduces the clearance. Seems like a major oversight by Ford to be honest. Rubbing on a stock truck... really?

The funny thing is that's not stuck because the tire is on there are not the factory BFG KO2s
Oh yeah they look like general grabbers. If they’re the same size and everything though then the stock ones would have still rubbed quite a bit

The stock tires on the tremor are general grabbers not BFG KO2s. They really shouldn’t be having any clearance issues on this truck. Maybe the suspension is set too low or the crash bars are adjusted wrong from the factory.

Honestly the crash bar design was kind of lazy on these they probably could have made them a bit lower profile from the factory to at least accommodate increasing the tire size by one full size without fitment issues. I bet the 6G ranger addresses this.

Thanks for the clarification! And yeah the crash bars were terrible. I replaced mine with the readylifts

Only reason I knew is that I am (slowly) tire shopping and have looked at the grabbers. I bought some wheels but I like the stock setup enough that I feel compelled to take my time and get into a setup I really like.

Except that Ford specifically states it comes with BFG KO2 tires on them soo there you have it.

Here’s pics of both sides of my truck. No rubbing, more like about 1/2 inch clearance. I wonder what happened to yours. Hopefully it’s easy to fix.

Why do all the members on here have tremors with general grabbers? I’m sure someone with a Tremor can chime in and verify.

You might want to call Ford and tell them and all of the review sites they have listed with the wrong tires. :)

It comes with 265/75r17 general grabbers.

Mine has general grabbers as well and I was expecting them from the reviews even though the online specs don't say which tire.

Not sure if you’re looking for recommendations but I went with the Toyo OpenCountry A/T 3s (LT obviously) and they’ve been great. MPG wasn’t hit too hard and road noise isn’t much worse than stock

Those are absolutely what it came with stock.

Not sure if you can tell, but this was the night I purchased it, right outside the dealership.

I'm starting to wonder why Ford decided to go cheap? From what I remember the original design had KO2's

Couldn't say, but I will say I am in love with these tires. They ride great on and off road.
