Went to the beach, saw a dead sperm whale which was very sad. Then stopped off at The Logger on US30 and parked next to another Ranger

Went exploring a few places out here… did some high speed (110 Km/h) desert running on the way to a few spots including a couple of meteor craters. Got caught in a wild storm at one point, but managed to snap a few pics before hand. Had to fight the washboard surface, some flooding, and some of the stickiest mud I’ve ever seen on the way out…

Fun fact: there are more camels here than in the Middle East. Who woulda thought…

Boys I am going crazy! I did nothing with my ranger today, as it has been at the dealership since Tuesday morning. Water was getting into the cab, so they replaced (apparently leaky) roof running boards and sharkfin antenna. Kept needing it one more day ?.

Should have her back home tomorrow! Driving a loaner Explorer, which has actually been a pretty sweet ride. I love my service department as they have covered all issues under warranty - however the time it takes is killing me...
