I used the stock bushings, the global springs were basically new, so the front bushing was tight, I used my rear bushings though as some were missing.

I like Poly, but hate poly, the famous squeak that eventually sets in, but if yours is loose Poly may be the only easy option, do you think a new stock bushing would be tight? or do those springs take a different bushing?
A new stock bushing should be tight, but I was trying to go with greaseable pins while I have the whole thing out. Just looking for others who may have swapped out the bushings.

Poly and greasable pins?

Have any of you with the Global springs installed poly bushings vs the ones that came with the springs? I purchased the OME kits and find the forward bushing is loose in the spring opening ( approx .2in different). The stock bushings I removed were rusty and packed with dirt in the gap between the bushings. Curious if you also had the loose fit. I'm concerned about wear with a loose fit.
I just received my global leafs and was looking to pull the front bushings out to inspect them. Were they difficult to remove?

eBay has the front SuperPro bushings out of Australia for the Global leaf springs and was thinking about ordering them if I didn't like the way the rubber bushings looked after inspection. I'm missing two of the rear bushings and may just order the entire SuperPro kit.

They are two halves pressed in. You have to destroy them to get them out. I used an air hammer with a blade to get them out. Start at the spring gap then work the flange around till it comes out.

Yikes... I was afraid it would require something like that. Thanks.

So FYI, just learned from ARB/OME CS that their bushing kits do NOT fit OE springs. They are only for OME springs. So SuperPro are the only poly bushings available for OE springs.

Bushings should transfer over from your factory leafs if not included. Liberal amounts of grease will be good, I skimped a bit and have developed a little squeak.

The only other thing I would suggest is shocks. Might as well do them while you're under there.
Just ordered the leaf springs and already have the bump stops here. Now I gotta order the u bolts and I’ll be set. Once I have all these I plan on getting the Eibach shocks and coil-overs so I can raise the front just a hair so I keep my same rake or possible a bit more level. Worried about too much rake if I don’t raise the front. Appreciate the advice on getting these btw!

I have the U-Bolt kit but need to order the shorter bump stops. I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Truck Coilover set as well. They are less expensive than the Fox kits and you have the option of choosing rear reservoir shocks.

Nice, I wasn’t sure if I was gonna get their pro kit or the other one with the adjustable front coilovers. I think one was 700 and the other closer to 1000. I’m thinking this combined with the rear leafs will be a great setup.

Well today I took the lil truck quail hunting. 7 hours of running through fields and oil field roads through mud wet sand and snow. These new springs have made this very comfortable to do. The pogo spring that was on there from the factory was so bad, couldnt ride more than 2 hours chasing birds before we had to quit for back pain. My hunting buddy and I both have bad backs with fusions. To be able for us to run over 100 miles off-road chasing birds is Absolutely amazing. Can't say enough good about these springs.

Well I gone an done it too. Ordered from the UK folks on Ebay, now to collect additional parts. Already replaced the rear shocks about two years ago, just refining the ride so the wifey (and little doggo) enjoy those long trips a little better.

Hoping the rubber bushings are new-ish - not really interested in poly in this area of suspension although the progressive rate Sumo bump stops are attractive provided they are the right height for the multileafs vs. monoleafs.

As far as shackles am I just as well off with the Ford Tremor factory replacements or is there an argument to go with a particular aftermarket?

I used my factory non Tremor shackles no problems.

I used the rough country u bolts linked earlier by another member. I chose those as I've had good luck with rough country products previously. My dealer is so over priced I never considered looking there for tremor u bolts. After they charged me list plus 10% for my brake controller I'll never consider them for parts.
