Speaking of chirping tires, on my trip down east, I pulled out of my cottage laneway onto a paved 2-lane rural road and got my foot into it. I had solid traction off the start but it chirped the tires on the shift. What the what?!?!I picked my up from the dealer...
They say the leak is fixed...
I also chirped the tires, for the first time... Been driving the outback for the last 3 weeks, and you can't chirp those tires no matter what you do.
Tomorrow I wash and detail the outback (road tripping from south Florida to Colorado and back makes an icky exterior) and The Little Blue Truck, as it's called apparently.
I’ve chirped them off the start but never on the shift. I wasn’t sure if it was something on my tires, on the road surface, a touch of lean leftover from making the turn, or the camber of the road, but it seemed like I was well past the turn and pin-straight at the time. Anyway, it sure produced a big grin.
