back on topic.
the thing I use my fogs for the most is reducing the glare on the road on dark, rainy nights. I put yellow LED bulbs in my OEM fogs. They do illuminate a little bit wider, low to the ground as compared to the factory headlights, but they do a really nice job of cutting that reflected glare off the pavement.
I'd still appreciate dynamic headlights, though. lots of twisty roads in my area and getting even a little bit better lighting aiming into the corner rather than blowing through the outside of it will be a major improvement. but that's a very different thing than what I use my fogs for.
I have a feeling that the increasingly expensive vehicle lighting is going to result in more and more vehicles with persistently busted lights. it'll take awhile for these vehicles to trickle down in the used market, but eventually they will start winding up in the hands of people who have to decide between replacing a light or the whole vehicle.
