I have a 2020 Ford ranger with roughly 60,000 miles on it. Steering wheel and brake pedal vibrate when I apply brakes has anybody else had this issue? Never had this problem on another vehicle with this less of miles.

Get the best quality rotors and pads you can afford. I had a ’14 Grand Cherokee under 50,000 miles out of warranty when the rotors went bad. I spent some good coin to do it once and forget it

My guess is you have un-even pad wear and or pad deposits on the rotor face. Can you attach a picture of what your rotor look likes. Also how much pad life is left?

My front rotors warped at less than 30k miles on my 2019. The dealer turned them down . That truck was totaled and replaced with a 2020. Same thing happened on my 2020 only sooner, had them turned down and now they are pulsating again at 38k miles.

Just curious. Do you guys ever bed your brakes when they’re new? It does matter and probably wouldn’t be a problem if you did do it.
Honestly I don't think I did the 2 times I got the truck back from the dealer. I know they drove it after the work was done and assumed they did.
I always do it when I install brakes myself, even if it's just pads.

My 2020 xlt 4x4 had severely warped rotors at 2200 miles. The dealer turned all four rotors and it works fine now. I've only driven it a couple of hundred miles since the work was done. If/when it does it again I'll replace with aftermarket rotors. I love the truck but was quite surprised the rotors warped so quickly. I don't tow at all so far.

My brakes squeal already. Haul a lot too though, and towing doesnt help. So yeah, i am expecting my brakes to wear out sonner rather than later. Towing, and hauling heat the brakes up pretty good. Or just plain hard braking can wear em out too.

2020 xlt 4x2 36000 miles

You should not need to with Standard street brakes. Ideally you could do a few hard stops but you need to cool the brakes properly and its hard to right on the street

My brakes appear warped at 22k. Truly disappointed with this on the Ranger.

That being said, I haven't purchased a ford vehicle in the last 10 years (and I've bought a lot) that didn't need new rotors before 25k. Our Edge ate them up. Explorer too. Focus and Fiesta. They all are trash. I consider them an item that gets replaced now with every oil change. And none of them ever had bad pad wear or even past 25% usage of the pads. All highway miles.

The vast majority of the time when folks complain of warped rotors they aren't. Uneven deposition of pad material on the rotor causes varying friction around the surface of the rotor and the resulting pulsation & shaking in the pedal. The most common cause of this is very hard braking then stopping before the rotors have had a chance to cool.

Before running out and buying new rotors take a Scotchbrite wheel to the face of the rotors. You may find the rotors are just fine.

I DIDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM UNTIL I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND THE SERVICE MANAGER TOOK IT FOR A UM A FUN RIDE. HE OVER HEATED THE REAR DISCS SO NOW WHEN I HEAT UP THE BRAKES JUST A LITTLE I GET THE VIBRATION IN MY ASS, NOT IN THE STEERING WHEEL OF COURSE. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I DO MY OWN OIL CHANGES NOW

I BOUGHT THE PADS FROM FORD THINKING I HAD A PAD PROBLEM, NOPE, THEY STILL HAVE 50% LEFT. PADS FRONT AND BACK FROM THE FORD DEALER WERE $350 CANADIAN WHICH I THINK IS OVER THE TOP EXPENSIVE.
