Got a couple of waterproof hard cases to house important tools of the trade. The brand is Nanuk - made in Canada. ?

Edited: I knew that case on the left would get the attention of a few folks here. ? Especially @AzScorpion and @Glocker . I mentioned “tools of the trade” because it’s about the “before and after shot”.

Now, don’t get the wrong idea. It’s not like the case on the right is for immediate use after deploying the case on the left. That’s not what I mean.

The first aid case is simply an essential tool for all trades. That case on the left could certainly come into play if someone stole my tools, but it’s really for the before and after shot I mentioned….?

Thanks again, I'm liking a perfect-sized case for only $69! Perfect first-aid case for both the kayak and Soupie!

Hey David,

FWIW - The model 905 versions fit nicely on the floor in the back of my SuperCab, even with the seats all the way back. The model 908 you like just might fit there as well. I will likely come up with a molle solution for the bed but for now, this works.

Wow! Thanks for the photos, that does help quite a bit! That 905 does fit perfectly for the Supercab (which is also what I have).

I'd like to go bigger than my current soft zip first-aid kit (that then goes into a dry bag) and was simply going to measure it and make a guess. BUT .. with your pics, I can absolutely get a firm idea of size versus "fit-ability".

It'll be nice to have it in the Nanuk case and no longer need to take it in and out of the dry bag.

Thank you so much, LOL, I am more excited about this than most mods (well, except the damper, of course).

I love your camera setup. I however was expecting to see guns in that case. I like that case for my camera/go pro setup too. Thanks,

Thanks Mark,

I was kind of baiting the gun guys on here a bit with that case. ? ”Ooh, what’d Duke get - a Sig - a Glock?” ? That company actually has foam insert kits for specific gun models.

The case I bought was empty and the foam insert was MacGyvered from one of the Plano rifle cases on my roof rack. They don’t hold any guns either - just tools, recovery gear, and stuff for detailing my truck. I once joked on here that the only things I have with triggers are detail spray and tire dressing. ?

Funny Duke LOL I do have some guns but my photo gear is almost always with me when I am vacationing or camping or hiking. I really like those cases. I do bring a gun with me when I am camping or hiking or riding my motorcycle. I have a little Ruger LC-9 that fits in my tank bag perfect and it's convenient for hiking too.

Thanks,

Top right: newly installed Bilko Auto 12V plug. (Not shown, pigtail option capped and tied up under side wall.)
Bottom left: the dummy plug from the harness for the 12v outlet- my son insisted on both wire and zip tying it to the tie down hook incase I need it later. ?‍♂

Gave a much needed wash! Tried Meguiars new Ceramic based wash/wax... not impressed at all. Literally no suds. Maybe I used it wrong??? Mix with water, no?

Hopefully its the last time cleaning these wheels and tires before my new ones show up. Lift, wheels and tires all happening at once!

Kinda liking the wheels.
They look good on your ride.
Almost wish I had them on mine just for a "different" look.

I don't dislike the look of the wheels. For whatever reason my mind screams 17s... also more negative offset. Currently have 1.5" spacers, going +18 offset, which should land me about the same.

They may be available in the next few weeks ?.
