Be careful Bill they're very sneaky like that. Next thing you know she'll have her own screen name on the forum and you'll notice all sorts of packages being delivered to your house. Courtesy of all of us of course. ?
Have you met Mary? Seems you know her well. :)

lol Well she was at the big party at your house. ?

Annie will always say "When is MY (meaning hers) Bronco coming in"? She really didn't like the Jeep and only drove it once but I have the feeling I won't get to drive the Bronco much.:frown:

Seems maybe you know her better than I thought. I always tell her, if you find a younger guy you fancy, make sure he can afford you. ;)

Yes, once I am back on the road, there will be some arm wrestling on who drives, at least when we are headed off road to one of our favorite trails. She drove the Wrangler once. That goofy clutch/flywheel setup really put her off, and she learned to drive with a manual transmission.

Not sure what I would buy, most likely the Bronco. Came from a 2019 Colorado ZR2 to the 2021 Ranger Tremor. Both have pros and cons.

If I had a build my own truck option, like build a bear, I'd take the Ranger drivetrain and suspension, Ranger front seats, Colorado infotainment center and driver information center, Colorado rear split fold down seat, Colorado body fit and finish with the Ranger body design and keep the Ranger fuel economy and add the Bronco manual transmission. Oh and add the front and rear electronic differential lockers from the Colorado.
You’d go Bronco even with all the notable and public issues going on?

I'd buy it again, probably in Hot Pepper Red instead of Carbonized Grey. HPR was discontinued for 2021 when I was ready to buy, then came back after I bought it.

The main issue IIRC was traced back to a bad batch of injectors and has been fixed for some time now. There are still some electrical gremlins but then again some here have issues with theirs too. Just about every manufacturer is having some sort of problem these days. The supply chain isn't what it use to be so they're having to outsource parts from many different suppliers now causing these headaches.

Absolutely love your answer bro.

Butttttt… come on, it’s manufactured issues with the tranny, build of the soft and hard roofs … and the fact that they think they can get $91k for a 2020 here in CA, which is damn close to the G-Wagons ?

Well the $91K has nothing to do with Ford that's on the slimy dealers trying to rip people off. The hardtop issues have also been worked out and I don't recall anything major going on with the transmissions.

My buddy just got his fully loaded Badlands and it's flawless! Granted he's only had it a short time but trust me when I say he's about as OCD as I am and he went over it with a fine tooth comb. lol His only complaint are the tires on the Sasquatch package are rock catchers. Says they pick up every stone in sight but besides that he wouldn't sell it for $80K.

What color? I love the dark blue ones lol.

Per tranny :
“2021 Ford Bronco Sport transmission problems could include shifting delays, grinding when accelerating, the car shaking on the road, or whistling noises or a burning smell coming from beneath the hood.”

Good to hear they are getting the issues worked out.

I'd pretty much written off the Bronco for my wife based on all the issues I was hearing about and was going to put her in something else.

Maybe I'll reconsider after a bit longer.

I haven't been as active as I use to be on B6G lately but it is nice hearing from someone you know and trust. He's also good friends with the owner of the dealership and he also said out of all the Broncos they've sold there's only been a few minor issues that were easily taken care of.

I too was skeptical but now I'm glad I kept my order and will be reordering when the '23 order banks open up. I also saw where Granger Ford has now received more allocations (50/month) from Ford. If that keeps up they said all their Bronco orders will be filled next year. ?

His is white and exactly what I ordered minus the SAS package. The blue is really nice too and I'm waiting to see if they have any other colors out for '23 but most likely I'll stick with white, it's easier to keep clean.

Note that is Bronco Sport, a completely different vehicle and engine tranny combo than the “regular” Bronco.
Good catch Doug I didn't even click the link to see the article. I didn't remember any transmission issues with the Bronco except for a few electrical ones that were easily fixed.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. No question. It checks all the boxes I need. Power, room, comfort, drives and rides nice. Fits in the garage. And is sooo easy to spend money on.?
