Yes, I don't know the details, but I think mid model 2020 they stopped stuff, like the center console gear lighting and perhaps some badging. Mine is a fall build 2020 (don't know the date) and it does not have the badge.
You're probably correct about the mid-year 2020 change. My 2020 model was delivered to me mid-December 2019 and it does have the badge.

The Ford SS Package is basically an emblem that belongs on a Chevy that somehow ended up in my garage waiting for the correct moment in the cosmos to get stuck on a Ford, or whatever non GM vehicle I wanted to put it on.
