Car Wash

Hey Guys -


Washed the truck yesterday.. noticed right below the hood and above the headlights there are quite a few (mini) rock chips.

Assuming I’m not the only one going through this … lol, what do you all suggest on protecting your trucks paint in the front fender and hood?

I have the factory PPF plus I added PPF to the grille, front bumper, headlights, A pillars and leading edge of roof. Also a bug deflector

I had 3M PPF dealer installed when mine came in. It covers more than the factory stuff: door edges, front 1/3 of the hood, under headlights rocker panel area near wheel wells. I also have the factory mudguards, similar to Weather-Tech or Husky: no-drill hard plastic. This is going to be my 20-year vehicle-I'll be 92 at trade in time. I might get another then, and put it on a 96 month loan if I'm feelin' lucky.
