Here was my first choice in getting rid of the new Duelers. And a fellow member snagged them up for 100 bucks witch we both felt good about. But 600?

About 3 months before I broke my F150 I had 5 steelies sand blasted and powder coated. I bought 5 Ford TPMS, new center caps, and had LT 285/70-17 10 ply Wrangler All Terrain Adventure Kevlars installed. Four tires had less than 4,000 km, and the fifth hadn't even made it into the rotation yet, it just rode in the box.

The tires alone were over $400 each, rims cost me $400, powder coat $500, TPMS were $250 iirc, caps were $100, mount and balance another $200. Well over $3,000 and a guy picked them up today for $1400.

I listed my Dynapro AT/M on the same site, and no hits at all. Mondady I'm going to call a few used tire places in town, and see if they are interested. One issue selling these, is how few vehicles use a 265/60-18 or 265/65-17. They are not all that common other than Rangers.

FB Marketplace or Craigslist and take what you can get. Shipping is expensive these days so selling locally is your best bet.

I only buy like new takes offs. Typically spend less than $300. Last set for my f150 was 0 miles wheels and tires off a 2019 for $450 shipped to me door. Not worth much but I love the deals.

HI all, I think the title says it all. I am researching trading in my new tires for larger ones and I'm wonder what do people do with their basically new tires that they are replacing. Do tire places trade them in for credit?

Thanks for any feedback.
call around and ask used tire stores. the stock tires a re pretty solid and should fetch something even from a reseller. If patient you can sell on craigs list. I just gave my tires to a local used tire seller where I have bought used tires. Did not even try to haggle for $. Maybe dumb of me in retrospect.

Many independent ships may trade; at least here. But, they are in the business to sell, so you’ll not get what you want however. Not many people have a good Tristan’s with local dealers, as they think they’re going to be great at big boxes, chain dealers, online. Establish a relationship with locals.

When I bought mine, I drove directly from the dealership to discount tire. The gave me $450 credit for my new tires towards bfgs

I do the same thing with 33s and wait a few months until Sid is looking for replacements. ;)

Matt, I've had good luck on Craigslist. I sold mine with about 900 miles on them for $325.00. But with the crazy prices today and shortages you might get lucky and get some decent money for them. I'd also throw them up for sale here and bump them up every couple days, between the two ads hopefully you'll sell them.
