I’m a little biased since I had a 392 Scat Pack Charger. The 5.7 just doesn’t cut it in my opinion

I would hardly call a 345 ci motor with MDS producing 370 hp SAE net and non-MDS motor producing 375 hp SAE net underpowered. About 320-325 RWHP. Allpar website states the high compression 1968-1971 4bbl 440 'Magnum' motor would only be rated at 305 SAE net under the current standards.

Theses trucks, with a tune, are definitely quick! Race car/truck not exactly. If you really want to go fast buy something made for that. IMO.
I’ve had my Ranger for almost 2 years and have yet had someone try to race me.

The 5.7 hemi is a pig. Underpowered for its size.
Agreed, I should take it out of my 2006 lj Jeep and replace with my Ranger engine. ? Or continue the winter project and remove the 6.4 hemi from the red one and just toss it. Wow, I feel like I'm 17, long hair and in high-school again. Thanks y'all

Comparing apples to oranges, N/A vs Boosted.
Well if you want to compare apples to apples then you need to stay with the same displacement too. For comparison a GM LS1 (5.7l) was rated 300 to 350 HP depending on application. The GM LS6 (again 5.7l) was rated 385 to 405 HP. The 5.7 Hemi is certainly not a pig compared to those engines.

Why are you hyperventilating? MyCalibrator and ProCal 4 are clearly the same device, probably bought from the same vendor in China. Ford Performance would have every financial incentive to purchase an 'off the shelf' tune and calibrator from Livernois to avoid the ridiculous EPA 'testing requirements' associated with every new automotive product. Solid rumors are that Livernois and Ford Performance work hand in hand anyway.....

Nobody is hyperventilating. Just wouldn't want somebody to be given the wrong impression from your incorrect ASSumptions.

The 6.4L 'Apache' motor is a completely different ballgame....

If I was to do a street hot rod, that car model would be my choice ! Just plain Badazzz !
Might be fun to get a magnum an build a beast Hemi in it. Make it a sleeper as much as possible. Then go out an embarrass people with the family station wagon.

They are out there now. There is a car club in eastern Massachusetts that is dedicated to Magnum owners and they are pretty much all extensively modified. Saw one at a car show that had a late model Charger SRT-8 front end on it.
