Honestly with how much confidence I had in my dyno tech I thought my truck was gonna fly off the dyno with the surge forward slip.

Finally got around to installing the ARB Rear Diff Cover, very simple install if you have the right tools and lift. I think i will remove the spare tire from under the bed so it stands out better.

Switched out my factory side markers for smoked legs and I like how they look. I will also be putting on black rocker panel covers when they get here.

Got into Forscan and did a few things:
Turned off most of the Chimes and Fake Engine Noise
Added Off Road Gauge (why isn't this defaulted ON for any level 4x4?)
Turned off Cluster Welcome/Goodbye backlighting
Enabled Bambi Mode

Did the ABS Service Bleed and Reset (did notice an improvement)

What exactly is the welcome/goodbye backlighting that everyone seems to hate? I haven't made this change but if I knew what it is I might hate it too lol. Nothing bothers me upon entering or leaving the truck, aside from the chimes and double honk that I got rid of. Maybe it's the retina burning brightness of the display screen when you open the door? I haven't given that much attention.

What exactly is the welcome/goodbye backlighting that everyone seems to hate? I haven't made this change but if I knew what it is I might hate it too lol...

I have an 2020 XLT. I don't know if the welcome/goodbye "animation" is different between trim levels or not. Now that I changed it, I don't really remember exactly everything it did . This happens in the gauge cluster and as I remember shows a blue screen that breaks up with multiple squares. About 2:46 in this YouTube video shows the "goodbye" portion. As I recall the Welcome animation wasn't as subtle.

Took a bit of care and loaded up the Plano Tactical Rifle Cases on my Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform today. They have a great weather seal and pick n pull foam interiors, but most important of all, two of the four clasps are lockable! Gotta keep it safe, right?

I know a lot of forum members are “gun guys” so I know you’re anxious to see what I have stowed away in there.
