Tremor rear differential the same or different to regular ranger?

Is the Tremor rear differential different than the other Rangers? Ford performance rear diff cover says it will fit all 5 gen except Tremor? https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-4033-R

My 2019 Lariat had a e-locking rear diff, so I don't think that's the case... ?‍

The diff is part of the tremor package so maybe it's slightly different?

Could be, but I'm not sure why they would make a whole new axle specifically for the Tremor since they already have one for the Ranger. It could be that it's too new yet and the aftermarket folks haven't had a chance to try one on to make sure it fits. You could take your truck to a dealership and check visually if they have a standard Ranger to compare it to.

The FX4 has an electronic locking differential and it is optional on the other trim levels.
Also I noticed that ARB has an air locker for us now, in case you don't have the factory locker. They have a front locker also.

The Electronic Locking Rear Differential has the same option code (X73) for the Tremor as the ELRD in the FX4 pkg and available as a stand-alone option. Is there a sway bar near the cover on a Tremor, or some sort of bracket on the Tremor stock cover that isn't on the aftermarket one?

I dunno, you got me. It sure LOOKS the same as the standard diff cover on the outside. But I'm not about to sacrifice my truck For Science to see if it'll work despite the website saying it won't.

SInce this is on topic for the diff, It seems the Tremor rear end is an open diff unless you have it locked right?

I bought the rough country diff skid plate that firs the standard ranger. Will install today and report back as to its fit on the tremor.
