how did the taxes work out here? did you trade in or buy with the cash?
I did not trade, bought the 2021 from Jones Ford out the door price was $33,681, included a little under $1600 in tax, tag, title. Sold my 2019 to Carvana $32,679. I financed the 2021, but only because they had not picked up and deposited the funds into my account. I got a $250 refund for my local taxes when I turned my plate in, so net cost out of pocket for the 2021 was $752. If you trade they would deduct the trade quote from the purchase price, and in North Carolina, you would get 3% of that value offer the taxes due, but the dealer I bought from would/could not touch the Carvana offer.

My first 2020 Ranger I gave 27,000 for it. Traded it in on a 2021.
Got 31,500 for the 2020. Dealer has it on their website for 35,600 now.
Paid $1087 more for the 2021.

Here's a video if anyone is interested....they just built a huge Carvana center about 6 miles away. They destroyed a 40 acre (or more) apple farm. I just went to the last 3 minutes or so to see the scale of the place.

.

Carvana's net worth is currently $835,524,167, and the CEO is worth about 8 billion!

About 1-1/2 months ago I was all ready to buy a used 2020 Ranger XLT with 7500 miles on it for $37,020 from Carvana. Thought it was a good price. They listed it as having the technology package. I could clearly see by the photos that it did not. They said it did when I called. They were giving me a crazy high price for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler so I figured it was (overall) a good deal (NOT).
I did some local research and found a brand new 2021 Ranger Lariat 4X4 for $36,500 after rebates and incentives ($42,020.00 MSRP). They gave me a little less for the Jeep but overall a way better deal. So the moral of the story is, Be careful what they are selling. They say, Hey, you can always return./refuse the car when delivered but by then your trade-in may be gone and you now have nothing. Also, I had a lock on my credit and when they pulled it it caused an alert that needed to be removed. I took me 1 hour to remove the alert and after 4-5 days and (Luckily) they still had not fully approved the purchase. (FYI 798 credit rating)
I would have hated the truck and pissed at myself for making such a bad deal. I love the deal I got and the technology package with the adaptive cruise control awesome.

Your credit is too good for Carvana. They want you to finance using their 20% rate so they can make back all the money they're shelling out.

How much was the difference between what they offered for your trade, vs what the dealer gave you?

Most people in this thread are interested in SELLING their truck to Carvana (only because of the outrageous offers), not buying one from them. I'd never buy a car, sight-unseen, without driving it.

Are you against capitalism or you just have a special place for apples?
