I did not trade, bought the 2021 from Jones Ford out the door price was $33,681, included a little under $1600 in tax, tag, title. Sold my 2019 to Carvana $32,679. I financed the 2021, but only because they had not picked up and deposited the funds into my account. I got a $250 refund for my...
Here is my 2019 I sold a couple of weeks ago. They bought it for $32,679 and have it listed at $34,990. I purchased it new on November 15th, 2010 for $28,500 out the door, so about $27,250 before tax and tag.

It uses the existing pop rivets that hold the weatherstrip to the bottom of the hood. There are 16 total, 8 are used to attach the deflector, the other 8 are left as they are. The shield mounting flanges slide under the weather stripping and then reattach the pop rivets.
The only thing you see is between the valley between the two hood bulges. I do have a 2" lift from my Bilstein shocks, not sure if that makes any change or not. But from inside it is not very noticeable.
I second that, with the tool it is a 10 minute install, without it will be a bunch of hassle, frustration, and sore fingers. I did not have to adjust my latch, very happy with the AVS.
I hand wash my truck and use my power washer, but last winter it was to darn cold and the truck was nasty so I ran it through the Sams Express and had no problems. It is pretty solid, I put the little rubber nubs on but I don't see how it would ever touch the paint.
My dealer provides the first 3 service intervals with a new vehicle purchase. If the tech is very careful it may not need an alignment, but they are removing the tie-rod ends and the hub/knuckle assembly to access the strut, so it is probably safe to assume it will need one.
I had the same...
I was there getting my free service provided by the dealer, and told the service advisor I was struggling to find someone to install my shocks that I bought online. He said they do it all the time, and told me the fronts would be $150, the rear was $75, and the alignment was $69.99. I still...
I have the AVS, it uses the rivets that hold the weather stripping under the hood. No tape, doesn't require any drilling, and does not touch the actual exterior paint. Only thing it it is difficult to really clean behind it, but it is possible.
Last thing on my list until one of you other posters adds something else "I have to have", is my front Bilstein shock replacements. Hope to have that done this week or next.
2 more things off my checklist. Got my CoverKing Neoprene seat covers installed. That back armrest was a pain in the rear end. They look good and my 1e year old son really liked the change.
No I just think its a stupid argument. Maybe we should all just ride bicycles, I don't see you giving up your boat pictured in your profile, that is far more harmful than a truck that shuts off for for a few moments at a stop light. Just like the craze for electric cars, the stupid people...
I bought a truck because I need to tow a boat, if they would make a vehicle that I can afford that does what I need a truck to do, while it sprays rainbows and atmospheric repairing pixie dust I will by one. But to think that the stupid auto/start is going to save the world you are severely...
I will add with the extreme gas shortage here in North Carolina, I might have to plug it in, that 0.1 mpg or whatever the EPA says it saves may be helpful right now.
