How do the lenses in the mirrors come off to replace those bulbs? I didn't want to pry too hard on the brand new truck and couldn't find anything online when I looked.
I stood near the fender and pulled the painted portion firmly towards me with a hand on either end. It is a bit nerve wracking for sure, but I didn't experience any breakage. Easier than taking the mirror out in my opinion which I've seen in videos.

Remove just the painted portion towards the front of the truck.

Ya, I figured it out. Easy as pie once I knew to start there. I was trying to remove the bottom non painted part.

It's dangerous to tow alone. Take this:

This install is as bad as they say. I changed the state of two plastic clips from about to be broken to broken in the door sill and kick panel and I don't think I could have done anything to avoid it.
