I stood near the fender and pulled the painted portion firmly towards me with a hand on either end. It is a bit nerve wracking for sure, but I didn't experience any breakage. Easier than taking the mirror out in my opinion which I've seen in videos. How do the lenses in the mirrors come off to replace those bulbs? I didn't want to pry too hard on the brand new truck and couldn't find anything online when I looked.
As in just enough to remove the lens? Or did you actually remove the painted portion?I stood near the fender and pulled the painted portion firmly towards me with a hand on either end.
