Finally got an RTT. I decided to go with the OVS Nomadic 2 Extended. They were having a sale and I wound up with a solid deal and I'm super pumped.

I have to make some changes to the rack setup to accommodate. Traction boards sit up a little too high for the tent to open so I've relocated them to the driver's side molle panel in the bed. I'm adding a Waterport to the passenger side since it looks kinda naked now. If there's room I may also add a small Pelican for my compressor and deflator. I'm currently waiting on the mounting plate for the Waterport so I'll update when I get that all figured out.

I also replaced my Rough Country light bar with one from Diode Dynamics. The RC bar only seemed to work whenever it felt like it. No idea why, but the quality on the DD unit is much better. When the bar was swapped out the ACC module finally went in so I no longer have a start up warning for that being unplugged. Those two things were done by Wired By Greg in Orange County. He also cleaned up and shortened wiring on my ditch lights. I've been crazy busy with work so it was totally worth it to have him do it. My install was "good enough" but his looks like it came from the factory. Highly recommend him for any electrical needs in the OC area. I'll be hitting him up for some chase lights in the future. I hate electrical.

With the tent on the truck I feel like it looks a little imbalanced now so I'm REALLY wanting a Prinsu rack. I had planned on upgrading tires next but I may just continue to run the life of the Grabber's and put that money toward the roof rack and some storage boxes. That'll help get some gear out of my back seat. TBD.

Wow I forgot about the build thread. Truck has been through a few changes since I last updated. Added the Waterport to the passenger side as I mentioned I planned on doing. It still sits up a little bit high and has to be removed to deploy the tent. Since I'm already setup and stationary every time I do deploy the tent, pulling the Waterport down has not been a big deal and I'm just setting it in the bed or on a table to be on standby for washing needs.

Went on a few adventures with it in this mode. I couldn't find a small waterproof case tht would fit in the space next to the WP so I mounted one to the Molle Panel inside the bed on the passenger side. I don't love this setup either but it works for now. Can snap some pics if anyone is interested.

The back-heavy look was driving me nuts and for Memorial Day I picked up a Prinsu on sale. Finally got it installed recently. I wasn't about to start drilling holes myself. I'm so happy with how it came together. I put two Pelican Vault V700 cases and my traction boards up there. Driver's side case has all of my recovery gear(that previously lived in a duffle behind my seat) and tool. Passenger side has camp related stuff(poles and accessories for the tent, WP sprayer, mallet, hatchet, etc). Someday maybe I'll get a fairing with the lightbar cutout but for now I'm super satisfied.

I'll be in Denver for work this month so I'm planning on swinging by the Overland Expo to see if I can burn anymore money. Next up will be tires. Looking at 295/70/17 Toyo RT Trails or Nitto Recon Grapplers.
