My first Blackstone report said there was a fair amount of residues from building and breaking in. Normal break in washoutI don’t think it’s antifreeze that’s still topped off where it was.. probably some type of break in additive
Ford discontinued orange mid '19. It's now yellow (more chartreuse to my eye), which includes any early Ranger buyers as the replacement. https://www.fcsdchemicalsandlubricants.com/quickref/coolantsEN.pdfAs far as color your antifreeze should be a redish color not green!
You learn something new everyday didn't know that. Changed less than 2 months after my truck build date in May 19! THANKS!!!Ford discontinued orange mid '19. Same I barely missed the change! Ford Tech Makuloco has a good video explaining the benefits of yellow over orange, so I did a full flush with distilled water and switched over to yellow. You learn something new everyday didn't know that. I believe it is an additive to help detect leaks during test running at the factory.I had some green residue when i bought mine new, I think it's some break in material.
it was not directly in the oil but i saw it on top of the dip stick
I think we should all go out to the garage and check, and then drink a 6 pack and no one will give a damn then what color the antifreeze is. LOLSame I barely missed the change! You may be right, but none of my other vehicles oil smells like fuel when I pull out the dipstick or take off the oil cap.Smelling your dipstick for fuel is about as accurate as sticking your finger up your butt to tell how much corn you’re eating.
Dealership just called me - the new injectors won't be in until April 7th. "If" they come in I am looking at getting the truck back on April 9th. They never used the words "back ordered" but said parts were getting hard to get.Update: My service advisor just called me. The technician has found fuel saturation in cylinders 2, 3, and 4. They ordered four new injectors. Parts "should" be in on Tuesday. After he replaces all the injectors, spark plugs, oil, and filter he needs to let it sit over night and re run what ever tests he did to make sure that is the fix. He also supposedly did the brake GSB for the pedal travel and I was told that the replacement leather seat bottom that came in was damaged and had to be re ordered. She is hoping to have my truck back, providing this fixes the fuel in oil issue, by next Weds or Thursday.
