So today I hooked up the truck to the trailer, took it to Big O and had 3 new tires put on. Thread was still good, but they were 7 years old. Should of replaced them last year, but with covid, I didn't go anywhere, so I just waited. Next month dragging the trike to Texas, so, it was time.
On the way home I took the short route on I70 to see how they tracked. All was great.
Anyway, I thought how nice it would be to turn on the rear camera to be able to see the trailer.
So the question is, has anyone figured out how to activate the rear camera while moving forward? Sure would be nice fo be able to check on the trike once in awhile. As things are now, all I can see of the trailer is the edges of the fenders and the spare. Once the trike is on it, I should be able to see more. Thought about removing the tailgate when towing to Texas, but then I would loose the camera all together and I kind of like it while hooking up the trailer..
Maybe I'll look into installing some rear cameras ... maybe in the bumper.
