Ford Performance tune “package”, including K&N hi flow air filter, currently on sale for $743.00. (Dealer or other SAE-certified tech install still required for 3yr/36K warranty): Anyone know what 5-Star or Livernois are going for?

5 star is at $470 currently. I've been looking them over for Christmas ha. Ol Santa has to take care of everybody else first though.

Just got a 5 Star nGauge and it comes with three tunes (extra tunes are $10 each) for the Holiday price of $601.96. Just loaded the 87 performance since I had a full tank and it is a whole lot of fun.

Why the nguage over the SCT? Just curious.

From what I could gather, SCT's LiveLink software isn't Mac compatible. Plus it comes with a mounting stand that could fit nicely on the corner of the windshield if I want to go that route. They have also been extremely helpful answering questions and I got my tunes within 6 hours of uploading my stock read.

Livernois is on sale right now for $499, it's regularly $599. I believe you get the 5 different tunes they have for the ranger. Also, lifetime support. They don't charge you for future tunes. Great customer service.....

I went with the Unleashed Tune after reading quite a bit on tunes here on Ranger 5G. I've not been disappointed one bit and must say the customer service and support is 2nd to none.

Livernois I belive is $500 or $600 and you get more power while staying reliable. 5 Star i cant say and dont recommend

Didn't realize this thread I made took off like this lol.

I ended up getting a Livernois tune for my truck, had it a while now and I am pretty happy with it. I tow a 19' camper a few times a year and it's no issues at all with it. They forgot to take the governed top speed out on mine so I'm still goverened at 110mph but it's not a big deal, when I want to go fast like that I get on my motorcycle and go to the track.

I run the 91-93 performance tune, this is from a local tuner's dyno not long ago on 91 octane.

I loved my livernois tune. Had to switch because they didn’t have anything for e85 :/

The reason they dont have anything for E85 is due to the fact the truck does not have the capability from the factory to run it safely.
