Ok....so don't usually just "jump" in feet first without testing the waters a bit, at least for things in life that make your heart beat faster. So it's been a couple of days since I loaded up the top Performance tune from Livernois. It was icy and snowy the first day so I didn't even try to push her. Then it started drying up and I was getting a little more frisky with the pedal. Well this evening I made a run to get some New Year's take out Italian and decided to see what life was really all about with this motor....lol. Well, the first thing that happened by on College Avenue in Fort Collins was a tuned gas, V10 F250 ;).So I lit her up all the way for the first time from a dead stop at a light and OH MY! The attached pic tells the story....lol. The most awesome thing was my encounter with the 4 young men college students in the F250 at the next light. I rolled down the window and the kid driving says "Dude, what do you have in that thing" lololol. That is probably the best question asked of me in as long as I can remember....to say it brought a smile to my face.....check out the pic...

BTW....since Mrs. Quail Guy daily drives the Ranger I told her NOT to hammer the pedal until she understands what that will mean....lol.

I am afraid I may get some points added to my license with this setup

Lol...That was my fear too, getting on it all the time and messing up my perfect driving record. So far so good but everyone out here drives like they're on fire so now I fit right in! I had the feeling you'd love the tune per our PM's, guess I was right. Just be careful on those cold slick roads there, it'll break lose easy. Heck I can do that here on dry pavement running 32's. lol

Even though I've had my tune since August I still find myself smiling all the time. This 2.3 is good stock but tuned it's an animal!

When getting a custom tune put on, we're required to save the stock configuration. My vendor will update my tune as I modify my truck. I wonder if there would be any update from Ford to the truck that I could detect that would require making a new copy of the factory configuration and then the subsequent tune(s)?
