I don't have them, I'm leaning that way. I've done a ton of research and was actually trying to decide between them and doing a spring under custom setup. Though I'm 90% set on APG's with kings. With leafs I can't see the need for a strap to limit droop. Unless you have enough to seriously throw off driveline angles. If I can get tremor leafs for cheaper than APG's then I wouldn't rule that out either......I would still change the bump stopHow do you like the Deavers with Raptor bumps? What shocks are you going to use? Are you able to use the stock shock mounting locations? Do you have to use limit straps to protect the shocks?
I currently have Eibach's and while it's better than stock it's nowhere near what it can be. The factory spring rate is just way off. When out wheeling and you get a rear tire off the ground, the speed at which it comes up is a bit unsettling. Combine that with the massive bump stop, you're damn near riding on the bump stops with a small load or minimal articulation/tuck. I have no idea why ford went this route other than to claim the payload/towing capacity.
I'm going to test the factory leaf springs with the bumps removed and see how much of a difference that makes in articulation and to see what the driveline angles are.
I have the front sway bar off currently as that's a decent limiter on front drop/articulation. Plus it rides better.
