I am leaning toward a 3 light system. One longer one in the middle and two smaller on either side. It will fit one 42" light, so a 20 in the middle and maybe two square ones on the sides.the first picture you posted I wasn't crazy about it, but after seeing it from more angles, I actually really like this. also actually looks great with that tire and stock wheel setup.
also, as far as light bars go, could look really cool to have a medium sized bar in the middle, and maybe a pair of smaller yellow lights at the sides. At least I like the idea of having some yellow for fog and snow and to help accent terrain variations.
I don't want to rely on the winch to spool out the rope. I would rather it free spool.
