OP here. I've looked at the three favorites mentioned here and the UPL looks good enough for me.
Easy installation, good access to the can for draining. The19-23 Ranger 2.3 Ecoboost Single Valve Oil Catch Can Separator Plug N Play™ is also easy on my wallet.

The19-23 Ranger 2.3 Ecoboost Dual Valve Oil Catch Can w/CSS Plug N Play™ is quite a bit more pricey. Comparing features the dual valve 2 oz. more capacity.

Does the "Dual Valve" version offer any thing else to justify the $130 cost up, and more complicated installation?
TIA,
Dave
The UPR dual valve takes care of clean side and the 'dirty' side other aftermarkets discussed (aside from the Ford Performance) address. The 'second' valve they called the WOT (wide open throttle) option and I got it as soon as it came out - drove down to their office to pick it up. I was told I had purchased the second catch can for the 5G Ranger. The lower hose really is the worst to deal with.

The hoses are definitely high quality and I went all out on billet check valves. I get liquid collected year round, just not as quick in the summertime.

I have a 2019 and my large hands made the install VERY difficult. I almost gave up after trying for about an hour(off & on) trying to put one of the hoses on. No space. I hope I dont have to reinstall another can. I know it wont be a Mishimoto.
My UPR connections for my 2019 had the same issue. Connections were to a factory oil separator on the rear/left of the engine. Totally blind, and my meat hooks must be as large as yours. I bailed after a few hours.
Then I looked at the UPR instructions for 2020 and later models where their hoses splice into the PCV loop. I cut the house just downstream from the pressure sensor, clamped in two L barbs with the quick connect nipple and attached the can. Everything is topside and in the clear.

I purchased the UPR kit for my 2020, and my instructions were identical to the 2019 set. Getting the original hose off and the other on was a bear. Scratched up knuckles and hands. No room in there to work and you have to remove/install by feel alone. I was so concerned that i purchased the Ford Factory oil separator plate just in case I might break the one on the engine during the install. I got it on cleanly.

I also bought the stainless steel check valves. Too much depends on those valves working not to.

I've not touched the system since except to empty the can. I watch it far more closely in the winter than in the summer.

I also installed O rings on the can ports to better seal the connection. I was smelling oil coming from the area. The O rings tightened up the slop, making a better connection. No oil vapor smell since.

I did request a longer hose so I could hide it under the plastic pan instead of having it lay over the radiator fan cowling. Much cleaner install.

It is a good product. Expensive but good.

I was not a believer in catch cans and still not fully convinced they’re needed. However I did put one on my 25 RR mainly because it was not that expensive and super easy to install. After about 500 miles I checked it and was surprised that I had about an ounce of brown gas smelling crap in it.
