Call ford. The engine is misfiring therefore no longer emissions compliant. That’s a power train issue at the very least. You also have an 8/80 emissions warranty. The dealers are not honoring warranty all over because the avg consumer doesn’t know their consumer rights.
I don't know now. It looks outdated already comparing it to the Tacoma. I was excited for this but seeing Fords issues lately has me questioning the brand. I'm in the same boat as many here with the crappy cold upshifts and the service at the dealer has been anything but modern. It's like...
None at all. So I may use the 3M professional undercoating on them and swap mine out and see how they fare. I had that on a section of a frame of a land rover and it was bullet proof. Hey at least if they rot out I have another set that will rot out too so I've double the life of them I guess.
Update -
I filled out the warranty claim on CarID where I purchased them, submitted pics and low and behold they shipped me an entire new set. I guess I better open them and confirm they are correct LOL. Anyway this is more than expected. Fully automated and didn't have to whine to anyone...
Thanks Phil. But I will say when I sprayed wax under the vehicle and in the cavities the amount inside the plug areas was almost useless. I was happy to do it the right way.
This truck has seen salt twice. First time I was able to wash the truck a day or 2 after the storm. This second time was a week due to the temps. Boards had 0 signs of rust until this last storm. Only the drivers side one is like this, passenger is fine. I didn't expect them to last forever...
I had them on a Land Rover LR3. Great tires, noisy and they wear a little quick but good for the money. They weigh a ton too due to the heavy sidewall. I don't recommend unless you plan on offroading a bit. I had a driveline whine that they hid nicely lol.
Let's not forget about the Jeep Cherokee. Produced for decades with years of data showing the tanks explode and the fix is to put a cheap aftermarket hitch bracket on the back.
Nope, the center sags even lower. Water will run right in. It's overall a poor fitment. Just looked at the Truxedo lo pro you tube video on the F150. The clamps look much larger and that bed lip is much bigger.
Came with the same rear brackets. I'm guessing this cover is the same cover. Only reason i got it is because no one had the truxedo 2 weeks ago. Those brackets are for stiffness of the bed but nothing explains this. Even tried putting the back clamp on the back bracket but the hardened metal...
