The most enjoyable $1,000 purchase Ive made so far is the Line-X color match spray on liner. Definitely a splurge and I dont regret spending extra for the color match.

I would have liked to have had that but mine came a bed liner with the black package.

Yes, but you’re not the only person reading this thread. Just because I’m quoting you, doesn’t mean I’m posting for you. I cut out the rest of the quote specifically so I could clarify things for everyone else who reads this, since there have been others who think I’m asking for help on how to spend money.

That’s what I’d spend my grand on. All of the small miscellaneous stuff that I’d like to have, but is too expensive to spend my hard earned cash on. Like Staun tire deflators. $100 on Amazon

Those are on my list too and I'm kicking myself for not buying them last year when they were $75.00.

I've seen a few members here who have recommended these and they do have good reviews. I've been thinking about getting them but I usually regret cheeping out and end up sending more getting what I should've the first time.

I answered for the first things I'd do on a newish truck with $1k or less, not really what I'd do now, oops.

For my build, $1K would definitely be Shrockworks Skid plates #2, 3 & 4.

Get the hromee ones. Basically the same thing for $30. I have them and am very happy with them.

What is it with all y'all and your noise? I knowwww, it helps the engine breath, but it doesn't have to sound like a race car .

Some guys on here complain about the road noise in the cab, but then add a CAI and exhaust system (I'm guilty of that with my previous Explorer).

Who said anything about a loud exhaust?
