I got the Gatorbacks. Love the look, and flexibility, although I haven't had a chance to load them up with snow, as we haven't had much this winter (yet). But being as I live on a dirt road, in these mostly gray, wet Michigan winters, some type of mud flaps was needed.

Are you lifted at all in the rear or is that stance only the FP Fox 2.0? Sorry to go off topic. Nice flaps though just to stay on topic.

No problem. Only FP Fox suspension leveling kit. No lift in back, 2" in front, leaves a little rake.

OEMs are currently on backorder, so I went with the regular sized Rokblokz :)

Edit 2/20/21: I am returning the Rokbloz. I cannot recommend them. The install hardware would not cooperate with me. I will most likely get the OEM Ford flaps when they are back in stock.

I was looking at the Rokblokz, do you think the regular size would be good if i went with a very slightly larger tire? Do you hear the rocking plinking on them while going down the road? Never having owned a truck or mudflaps, it sounds very nice not to have to kick the slush that collects in your wheel wells for 5 minutes before finishing scraping off the car in the winter.
I have stock tires and don't drive on many gravel roads where I would get rocks hitting them to the point I would hear it. If you are going with a larger tire, I would go with the XL. This is the best shot I have down the side. They are pretty close to the edge of the stock tire.

That picture is perfect, those should be good enough even if i sized up to a slightly larger ratio ie: 65 up to 70. that probably wont be until the tires are worn though. Thanks!!

Definitely agreed. With all the time I've had with my Gatorbacks (and one tearoff), I wouldn't ever do anything else.

X3 on the Gatorbacks - they look good and you cant get more flexible than rubber!
Gizmo - the plain SS plates don't look bad. I bought mine w/o plates and only plan to get them for the back as the front is hidden by the running boards. Cant decide between SS plates and gunmetal with Fx4.
To anyone looking I think these are worth he money. And if you have a small or Rt angle drill you dont need to remove the wheels to install, I didn't.

I don't have anything but basic hand tools and a socket set and still didn't have to remove the wheels!

I love the plain SS look (plus it was way cheaper) but I occasionally hear from people behind me when offroading that they can be blinding haha. I love how plain they look, though I am considering trying some vinyl options on them.

If I can get them shipped from Canada - seems I have to call to order?

I haven't heard any complaints on the road, so I don't think it's a large issue. The black is nice though.

I ordered through SharpTruck who also has plates (scroll down in the "product options" on this page and you'll see it) that you can order from, they're the official US seller. https://www.sharptruck.com/truck-hardware-gatorback-ford-replacement-plate

Yeah thats where I bought my mud flaps, but they don't carry all of the one that truckhardware.ca has. Seems any that might be Ford copywrited in the US dont show up.

What? They definitely show up for me (you might have to select your vehicle first).

There are far too many options, that's for sure. And at $60/plate, I'm not about to basically double the cost of my mudflaps for some pretties haha.
