Thanks but that’s how mine is set and it seems to only blow outside air out the defroster until I put the key in. I am a lowly STX owner without the climate control so maybe mine is different.
Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought that if it came with factory remote start you could set the climate control to last setting? Hopefully someone else who has one can confirm this because it's a great feature and almost useless to have remote start without it.

Green paint option and manual transmission
You'll probably see the green next year as the '22 Bronco is getting it and they're both made at the same plant.

I agree. If you are wearing sunglasses for driving, which I usually do, it is all but impossible to find the manual climate controls--and dangerous to be fooling with the ones on the screen!
It's a car with a soul, you should speak to it. If you're cold you could use "Climate" followed by "Set temperature to 80".

Then you can also ask it to take you to coffee or shopping. Or just complain that you're hungry or thirsty..

I can go into Settings and select either Auto or Last Setting. I do not have a separate remote start, just the remote start on the Ford Pass app. Seems that it blows air on high out the defroster regardless of what the controls are set on until I get in and turn the key. Not a huge deal here in the summer, at work I leave the windows down unless it’s going to rain and put a sunshade in the windshield.

100% I was really bummed that they didn't offer green. It would have been cool to get Pacific Green as a throw back to 90s Ranger.

If they did offer a manual tranny all of the other features that we have with the auto would disappear. TM, traction control, etc…
My son used to have a stick Mustang and it had traction control. I can see that a remote start wouldn’t work unless you left it in neutral. I guarantee my right arm and left leg can shift smoother than this automatic transmission though.

They wouldn't, the 7spd in the Bronco has TC and you can turn it on/off like ours with a button. Also they have GOAT modes and everything is now done automatically and IIRC there is a separate TM control and you can still set the desired speed up to 20 mph but not positive because no one has a manual yet.

This is from a Q&A with a Ford rep:

Q. What is the true difference between Sport and Baja mode?

A. The different GOAT modes are similar to the Terrain Management System on current Ford products. Baja mode programs the powertrain system to allow some slippage in sand. It is basically sand drift mode. Sport mode quickens the throttle and transmission like Sport mode in other Ford vehicles. It is more of an on-road mode.
Also check out the crawler gear at the 24:30 mark.

I didn't look into it at all because I have no desire for a manual but I know Doug @D Fresh didn't have much good to say about it. There wasn't a huge take on them either, I think it was only 20% of sales on the B6G forum. Not that that's a good indication of what everyone else (that's not on there) will order but the true enthusiast are and that says something.

I also have a STX, and have no issues heating car started with Ford pass.

Used it all winter to melt snow on windshield before I get in and start.

No sure what your doin wrong. Leave heat settings in when part truck. Auto start via Ford pass. Warm and comfy before I get in.

I was going to put my 2 cents in to lobby for a "SHRINK" button that would come in handy when I was going somewhere with tight parking and/or traffic. Seems Ford has already taken care of that. ?
